I was so excited to hear that BundleMonster were releasing a second set of plates this year…and even better this entire collection has been designed by nail art fans which means that every image is one that someone somewhere has dreamed of being able to put on their nails! I have to admit I’m a bit sad that I was apparently living under a rock and missed the competition earlier this year to submit a design, maybe they will do another collection in the future. No doubt you have all seen posts about this collection already so instead of taking photos of every plate, I’ve put together a collage of my favourite images for you all before I show you a couple of manicures I’ve done with the plates.
All these photos were taken of the plates in my plate holder if you’re wondering why they look a little hazy. You can click on the image to make it bigger as well if you want. I love that the BundleMonster himself made an appearance on this set of plates – that really made me laugh. It’s also great to see so many geometric full nail designs – I have to say that I love BundleMonster for not making their full nail images “2-for-1″ by adding a french manicure curve at the bottom as this always makes the images too small for my nails. Anyway onto the nails I put together with these plates:
This first manicure started with a base coat of Zoya Robyn – I then sponged on Ulta3 Lily White and Zoya Arizona to create this mish-mash of blue and orange. I then grabbed the arrow design from plate BM-410 and stamped it on in black. It’s also worth mentioning that the uneven appearance of the stamping is from my new squishy silicon stamper, NOT the plates. I quite like the slightly aged look it gives to stamping but I am persevering as well to see if it’s possible to get the same crisp stamp that you get out of a rubber stamp.
My second manicure Uses Zoya Monica and I stamped a full nail flower design from plate BM-404 in China Glaze Passion. I really liked this design because when you look up close you see the flower motif but from a distance it looks like the purple is the stamped colour and that there are little Xs all over my nails.
I’m really back into the swing of stamping at the moment so I can’t wait to play more with these plates – expect to see more manicures using these soon! In total there are 26 plates in the collection which I think is the biggest collection I’ve seen and it’s available for just US$16.50 right now, bargain! If you’re new to stamping or looking to organise your plate collection, I would also recommend the BundleMonster plate holders – I can’t start to tell you how much more I use my plates now they’re properly organised and easy to browse. You can find the plates here on the BundleMonster website.
