I’d been toying with this idea for a while but I wanted my nails to be a bit longer before I tried it out…who knew it would take me so long to grow my nails out again! I’m obsessed with colour and grey combinations at the moment so my base colour of China Glaze Recycle was a no brainer. For the pink dots I used OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips and Girly Bits Razzle Dazzle and the turquoise accent is done using China Glaze Custom Kicks and Cult Nails Hypnotise Me (still one of my favourite polishes ever!)
I used a dotting tool to add all the colours that create the gradient, starting with adding a thin line of continuous dots along my free edge using creme polishes, then slowly spacing out the dots as I moved down the nail. Once the pattern was done in creme polishes, I went back over it all with glitter polishes (again using a dotting tool). An added bonus was that I had Razzle Dazzle on my toes too, so for once my nails actually co-ordinated!
Thats all for today folks!

This looks great! Amazing Job!
This is so cool it’s unreal! Will be trying this out tomorrow. Found your blog via pinterest, so glad I did. Serious talent here.
Really pretty – love the combos that you came up with for the pink and turq glitter dots
SO gorgeous! This is the kind of gradient I might actually be able to execute.
That is really stunning. I love the contrast of the grey with the sparkle, so pretty.
Awesome, I love grey & colour combos too.
I love this look! :)
Were do you buy a dotting tool? Beautiful nails!!!
You can get dotting tools from eBay for a few dollars.
