For the last minute whim purchase that this polish was, boy did it exceed all my expectations. I picked this one at the last minute when I saw it on Etsy during the Hare Polish pre-sale back in June and I’m so pleased I did. I can’t even explain what this polish has that fascinates me so much but it definitely is my hands down favourite Hare Polish (at the moment anyway!)
Cosmo Blossoms has a dusty lilac base with small forest green hexes and micro glitter. I found the base colour to be quite sheer so I layered it over China Glaze Sweet Hook which is a bright pastel lilac. This brightened up the base of the polish slightly as you can see in the swatch photos below. I expected this polish to be really gritty because of the abundance of micro glitter but it applied really smoothly and the dispersal of the glitter was perfectly even with no drag at all. This is one coat of Cosmo Blossoms over two coats of Sweet Hook. Enough talk, more photos!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my little Hare Polish Swatchathon this week. It’s been a long time since I’ve been so excited about so many polishes from one brand. And my love affair with Hare Polish isn’t over yet…I managed to score Dog Day Dream and Why So Igneous? in the Hare Polish etsy sale yesterday so I will have a couple more swatches for you in a few weeks time. Despite getting up at 5am for the sale and having placed my order by 5.03am, I still got cart poached and didn’t manage to get a bottle of The Monster which made me a bit sad as it’s the first time it has ever happened to me. I’m dying to add A Positive and Bisbee to my Hare collection too so I look forward to the release of the reformulated versions when they’re ready too.
I have some more indie swatches coming up from another brand that I’m also currently loving but I think it’s about time I started doing some NOTD posts again too so stayed tuned for a return to normal programming! Happy Friday everyone :)
