Sorry for the delay in posting this one, it’s been a crazy couple of days.  I had Monday off to take my partner to have pins taken out of his hand following surgery a few weeks ago, I also got a nasty gum infection that day which resulted in half my mouth swelling up and making me look like a chipmunk.  After an emergency dentist appointment, I’m on some drugs for the swelling and pain and have to see an oral surgeon about having my wisdom teeth extracted that never came through.  So blogging took a back seat for a few days.

Back to my Hare Polish swatchathon – I have Midsummer’s Midnight today which is actually my least favourite of all of them.  In the pre-sale shots, this looked like it had a dark purple base colour but it turns out to be black.  I’ve layered it over two coats of Wet N Wild Black Creme for these shots but I did test it first to see if it had a purple base before going with the black underwear.

The glitter mix in this polish is quite different to Afterglow and Magic Mist which are very similar.  The dominant glitters are the small purple and green hexes, there are also slightly larger magenta hexes and blue and purple squares.  Then to top it off, there is a mix of purple and green micro glitter.  Everything about this polish should make it something I love but it just didn’t jump out at me like I expected.  Maybe I do need to try layering it over a purple polish.

So tomorrow I will have my favourite for you to round out my Hare Polish week (if you haven’t already used your super sleuth powers of deduction to work out which one it was!).  I’m off to eat lasagne now as I’m on a strict warm mush only diet :)  Have a lovely evening everyone.
