Welcome to piCture pOlish blog fest for 2012! piCture pOlish kicked off this tradition last year by enlisting nail bloggers worldwide to post swatches of every single polish in their range. This year, they have gone one better and they’re using blog fest to launch not one, but two new collections.
First up is their new Mesh shades which feature jelly style base colours packed with silver glitter. Some of my more eagle eyed readers may have spotted these before – piCture pOlish ran a naming contest for the three polishes back in May on their Facebook page. I have Orbit to show you today which is a blurple with silver glitter. This was two coats of polish with a coat of Poshe on top (makes a nice change to wear a non-thirsty glitter)

Next up I have Demeter from the Collaboration collection. piCture pOlish have partnered with their network distributors for this collection and each polish is exclusively sold through piCture pOlish and the network distributor who designed the polish. Demeter was developed with Katie from Harlow & Co, who is the Canadian network partner. As you can imagine, having the Canadian exclusive made me my own kind of happy. I do love Canada :) On to the polish – Demeter is a warm dark brown with irregular shaped holographic flecks. The base colour is slightly sheer and takes three coats to reach opacity but it’s well worth it. The holo flecks create a scattered holo effect that look slightly pink out of the sunlight due to the sheer nature of the base.

So what do you think? I love them both, but Orbit edges ahead by being a blurple polish. The formula on both were easy to work with and I didn’t even have to do any clean up :) Both polishes are available today (30th July), Orbit is available through piCture pOlish and all their network partners, while Demeter is available exclusively though piCture pOlish and Harlow and Co. Also make sure to watch the piCture pOlish Facebook page or their Pinterest Blog Fest board to see all the swatches of the other Mesh shades and Collaboration exclusives today. I know I will be watching, I can’t wait to see the other collaborations!
The products featured in this post was provided to me for consideration but this in no way influenced my review. For my full disclosure policy, please click here.

Awesome pics especially of Demeter
:O Could Orbit be the sister of Essie ‘Starry Starry night’? Just with a bit more ‘stars’ haha
Gorgeous swatches!
WOAH!! Fantastic pics
Your photos are wonderful! I got these two aswell!
I love your blog design!
Beautiful swatches. I’m not a brown person but thanks to your gorgeous pics I need it too!
I’m not much of a brown person either but this one is really pretty, I love how the base colour means the holo flecks aren’t silver when they’re out of the sun.
