I finally got around to playing with my new BundleMonster plates this weekend – I love the scrolled vines design on plates BM-314 so it was one of the first on my hit list to try.
I started with two coats of Orly Nite Owl which is a greige with silver shimmer. Then I stamped my nails with the design from BM-314 and A England Avalon, finally finishing it off by highlighting some areas using my dotting tool and China Glaze Designer Satin. This wasn’t quite what I envisioned sadly – I’ve had terrible trouble with this plate, it seems to be engraved too deep and slightly warped so I ended up scraping it 4-5 times to get rid of all the excess, even then I still got some smudging when I stamped…I’ve heard of other people having some issues too with under engraved or over engraved plates so I’m hoping not all of my plates will have this problem.
Anyone else finding this particular plate is problematic? I’m thinking about contacting BundleMonster if I have problems with more of my plates. I was so excited for them, but now I’m not so enthused to use the others.

I had myself convinced I didn’t need Nite Owl, but this made me change my mind again. This is gorgeous. Great job!
I really like Nite Owl, its one of my three go to neutrals, along with OPI Skull and Glossbones and China Glaze FYI. Its a good palette cleanser without being too plain.
Sorry the plate gave you trouble–the end result is great!
