Just a quickie I did the other day – I don’t seem to be able to settle on anything at the moment, I’ve changed my nails every day for 6 days now and I’m just never happy with them.  This is two coat of Quo by Orly The Blue Box which is a tiffany blue creme which is incredibly close to China Glaze For Audrey, just a little more blue.  I picked this up on the first day of my holiday in Canada on clearance for $5.50.  The formula is a bit thick and chalky but the colour is divine.

I then went ahead and stamped it with a quatrefoil design I’ve been lusting over on my jumbo stamping plates (this design is on plate B).  I used Zoya Zuza which looked perfect next to The Blue Box in the bottle, but I think it looks too dark on the nail.  I should have gone with a bolder pattern which would have worked with the contrast better.

I’m definitely going to try this pattern out again – I think it would look amazing using a really dark base colour, stamped with a metallic polish over the top – maybe a navy and a gold or silver?

Hope everyone is having a good week.  I’m having a crazy week as I’ve finally been given the green light at work to move into a new role after four months of negotiations.  So now I have less than two weeks to wrap up everything in my current role and hand it over to other people.  Busy times!
