Swatched: Lush Lacquer Just Chillin’

SHARE

Out of all the Lush Lacquer polishes, this was the one that jumped out at me as a must have polish – and after swatching it I’m quite sad that I didn’t buy a full size bottle it’s so gorgeous.  Just Chillin’ has a very sheer dusty cyan base and contains cyan and copper hex glitter, slightly smaller purple hex glitter, copper bar glitter and a variety of fine glitters that I think consist of cyan, copper and opalescent colours.

The formula is excellent, my swatch is one coat over Butter London Victoriana – it spreads out very evenly and I just dabbed on a little extra in some bald spots after.  I think if the bottle had been full sized, with a full sized brush I wouldn’t have had to dab anything on afterwards as the brush would have held enough.  I went with one coat of top coat and there is still a slight texture to it, but not so gritty it’s unpleasant.  I think a coat of Seche Vite or two coat of a thinner top coat would smooth it out entirely.
