An impulse buy from Friday night while I was killing time waiting to meet family for dinner – I stumbled across a health store that had a Butter London stand on their counter and couldn’t pass up Victoriana which has been a lemming of mine for as long as I can remember. I was a little disappointed as they didn’t have any newer colours or All Hail The Queen which is my other Butter London lemming, but it’s better than nothing!
This is a dark dusty teal polish loaded with silver shimmer particles. The particles are quite grainy and not too reflective so they create a stunning texture to the polish. The formula is gorgeous, this was two coats with top coat. It does remind me a lot of Cult Nails Let Me Fly but the silver particles in that polish aren’t quite as dense as in Victoriana

I just bought All Hail The Queen today for $14 USD. Kind of pricey for me but my sister has been raving about it for a while now so I finally caved. I might get Victoriana. My skin is too tan now that I don’t think I can pull off the color until fall. It looks amazing on you!
Oh I’m jealous, I’m actively hunting All Hail The Queen at the moment, but we pay about $25 for Butter London here in Australia which I don’t really want to pay so I’m looking around to see if I can find it a bit cheaper.
I really like Victoriana – it’s more muted than Cult Nail Let Me Fly I’ve found after comparing the two on the weekend which I really like. OPI I Have A Herring Problem is similar too but the shimmer is more gold than silver and more chunky.
If you’re interested we could do a swap. I would love to get some polishes from over there!
As great as that sounds, Australia are really tight around mailing polishes and the fines are huge so I’m not brave enough to do swaps :( Thanks for the offer though!
