I was all over the swatches for the NYC Ballet collection by OPI. What I initially signed off as a bunch of boring sheer nudes, I quickly fell in love with as soon as the swatches started popping up. Everyone was touting them for the the fact that they’re not streaky which sounds like just what I need as I struggle with sheer polishes and streakiness all the time. I think the addition of the glitter top coat – Piroutte My Whistle was what pushed me over the edge.
I snapped up three of the polishes – Don’t Touch My Tutu (sheer white jelly), Are You Calling Me A Lyre (sheer pink nude jelly) and Piroutte My Whistle (glitter top coat with fine silver glitter and medium white hex glitter). It turns out Don’t Touch My Tutu can’t quite cover the yellow staining on my nails, so what you see here is three coats of Are You Calling Me A Lyre, one coat of Pirouette My Whistle and finally one coat of Don’t Touch My Tutu which I think balanced out my nails nicely. I tried to apply Pirouette My Whistle in a gradient so it was most prominent on my tips (and disguised the more stained area of my nails) which I think worked quite well.

I have this and love it! Looks so pretty on you!
I only got My Pointe Exactly, the very sheer grey jelly from that collection. I like the glitter one a lot too and might get it later.
