NOTD: China Glaze 108 Degrees and Orange Marmalade
30 Apr 2012

I recently rekindled my love for glass flecked polishes when I made my nail polish earrings, so much so that I had to put this combo on my nails asap.  This is 3 coats of China Glaze 108 Degrees which is a very red leaning sheer hot pink with pink glass flecks, then one coat of China Glaze Orange Marmalade which is a sheer orange polish with gold glass flecks.  The final effect is a rich reddish orange with an almost foil like finish which shows a bit of pink sparkle in the sunlight.

I love wearing these polishes like this as I find 108 Degrees too bright on it’s own and I don’t own anything to use as underwear for Orange Marmalade and I detest VNL with polishes like this.  Now I have a happy medium instead :) Oh and I am wearing the matching earrings (yay, no more boring sleepers, they’ve healed up and I can wear whatever I want again).  I’m going to try Blue Iguana and Senorita Bonita together on my toe nails now to see if I can get a more violet shade out of them!  (UPDATE – it doesn’t work with Blue Iguana and Senorita Bonita – the base in Senorita Bonita is too streaky).
