My first OPI DS polish…can’t believe it took me this long.  DS Extravagance is a scattered dark berry pink holo that verges on purple in darker lightinhh.  The holo particles in this polish are flecks rather than micro glitter and quite noticeably break up the colour when there is no sunlight or fluorescent light to bring out the holo effect, however when the holo comes out to play it’s all sorts of amazing :)  I always forget how much I love scattered holos until I put them on.  I really need to find a nice bright teal one to add to my collection.  I needed two generous coats to get rid of any thin patches with this polish.  Then I decided to stamp it with a design from plate E of my jumbo plates which is a flower with some hatch markings…it didn’t look so great on my nail though because the design was just too big :

I found this really chipped easily when I used it with Nail Tek Foundation II so I switched to China Glaze Strong Adhesion base coat with much better luck – these photos were after two days of wear and there was hardly any tip wear – after two days with Foundation II there were chips all over my nails.  Any other scattered holo recommendations?  This really makes me want to get out Color Club Wild At Heart now.
