The abundance of red and pink nails with hearts floating around right now eventually made me give up on using any of those on my nails for Valentines Day – I’ve loved so many of them that I didn’t stand a change of coming up with something original that I would love enough to wear.  Instead I’ve chosen China Glaze For Audrey stamped with a flourish design from BundleMonster plate BM04 on my ring fingers, finished with an aurora borealis rhinestone (I love these rhinestones – they’re clear but have a multichrome coating that makes them flash lots of different colours – like bubbles).  It’s simple and elegant and I’m very happy with – plus I will be one of the few people out there not wearing red or pink on my nails on Valentines Day!

Oh double plus I thinned my bottle of For Audrey and it’s so much more pleasant to work with now – before it was always uneven and super gloopy but I had feared thinning it would make it streaky.  No such problem – two coat perfection now.

Does it include a themed manicure?  I’m not doing anything on the day, money is a bit tight and pay day is 15th so we’re going to celebrate next weekend by going to see a movie (maybe Gold Class…still debating a splurge, after all I can get a Transdesign order for the same price) and going out for lunch or dinner.
