Swatched: Orly Rococo A Go-Go
15 Feb 2012

Another day, another Orly!  I have another polish from the Mineral FX collection today – Orly Rococo A Go-Go.  This polish has a deep aubergine base with pink to red to gold foil particles.  I expected this polish to have a bit more depth to it but the base colour is a little too dark which drowns out the foil particles a little bit.  Despite that, this would make a gorgeous autumnal polish and I think I will get much more wear out of it when the weather cools down a bit here (no laughing Sydney ladies).  I found the formula on this one a little on the watery side so flooding the cuticles was an issue although the polish was really pigmented so I only needed two coats.

  1. Your nails are so long! I am so jealous.
I always seem to break mine doing housework or I file them down with worry I will accidently scratch the baby!

  2. Beautiful! And I have to echo the above comment — your nails are really lovely. :)

    • You’re both too kind. I always used to envy anyone with long deep nail beds but since I started blogging I’ve come to appreciate my own nails. It’s like the “love yourself” mantra on a small scale haha! I’ve filed them back a bit now btw. Personally I thought they looked like talons!

  3. This is so gorgeous! I love Orly, they’ve been coming out with great stuff lately.
