This product is a lighter hand cream with a more lotion like consistency than Kit Repair Hand Balm, however don’t be fooled, it’s not watery in the slightest. I’d never tried Jurlique before I received this and I was very impressed. I got this in a gift set with some shower gel from my boss and I have to say this is the standout product, meh to the shower gel. The cream is strongly scented with lemon even though it claims to feature tangerine, mandarin and lemon scents. I personally think it smells like lemon pancakes – you know how lemons smell just a bit fresher and sweeter when you put them over pancakes (read crepes North America, not chunky breakfast pancakes!). I don’t like the scent quite as much as the orange and lavender combo of my Aesop and Kit balms, but it’s still definitely up there and it’s a good wake me up smell. The tube is a metal foil tube which I’m not a huge fan of – they really take a beating if they’re thrown in a handbag and are liable to burst eventually where weaknesses form from the afore mentioned beatings. The product itself is splendid – it sinks in very quickly and leaves my hand ridiculously soft. I don’t find it overly moisturising though and my hands feel dry again in a couple of hours
When to use: I use this when I want a quick fix during a swatching session because my hands are feeling like leather
How much to use: Half a pea! A full pea sized amount is far too much and you will be rubbing it in forever
