Now don’t laugh – this is my first attempt at proper freehand nail art and it’s a bit of a fail!  I was going for Christmas baubles but it did’t work out quite as I saw in my head.

I used Essie Watermelon as my base, then Essie Vermillionaire, OPI Pamplona Purple and Essence Let’s Get Lost for the baubles and China Glaze Passion for the gold details.  My camera as usual hated the pink vs the orange but the orange baubles did show up in real life.  Even though this was a fail, I wanted to share it.  I wanted to show you don’t have to be good at everything “nails” to be able to have nice nails. So freehand nail art isn’t my thing, that’s ok.  I will stick with what I know for now!
