Layering has to be my latest addiction.  I love these Inglot flakies and I’ve already orders some Kleancolor Chunky Holos to bump up my layering arsenal!  So today I’ve got Essence Must Have layered with Inglot 204.  First up some plain swatches of Must Have which is  charcoal grey shimmer with a green blue flash in the sun:

I’ve actually worn this polish twice more since this, I love the multicoloured shimmer in the sun.  It comes up mainly green and blue but there is also some pink and purple in there.  Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to stay put for long and chips start appearing after 24 hours or so.

Now with Inglot 204 over the top:

This is in the shade with a top coat – you can see the flakies mainly show blue but there is a hint of purple to them which is easier to see in the bottle.  I found the flakes built up very quickly as you can see at the base of my pointer and middle fingers.  It was very difficult to get an even all over coat to start with.

I found it was difficult to see these flakes in the sun, they tend to hide a bit, so I put a matte top coat on to bring them out.  Sadly this entirely killed the shimmer in the base colour.  I love how this gives it a 3D effect where the flakies overlap each other on my middle finger though.

In the shade, the purple is more obvious this time and the flakies look fantastic!  I’m so happy I made the effort to go across the city to get these polishes.  204 is really easy to work with as long as you’re careful to not leave the brush too loaded and it’s an instant wow effect (in my opinion anyway!).
